This was a published doll magazine photo. The assignment was to use dolls and reproduce a piece of artwork with them. I chose Boucher's portrait of Madame de Pompadour painted in the 18th.C. There is some photo-montage (toy dog, books, clock), the rest is a single photo, although I over-laid a close-up on the figure because my megapixels are just puny compared to newer cameras and needed better resolution and there's a little PS touch-up in the background and the front edge of the carpet. Doll: CP Delf Juri 2005, white skin resin. Clothing by Dollmore with extra flowers and ribbon trimmings. Wig by Neale. Eyes by Souldoll.
